I have to acknowledge receipt of your despatch of the 28th October last No57, enclosing Ordinance passed by the Lieutenants Governor and the Council of the Colony Entitled "An Ordinance for the better keeping of the Peace and quiet of the Inhabitants of the Town of Victoria, and its vicinity during the night time."
By this Ordinance it is provided that no person shall between sunset and 6a.m. make or cause to be made, any noise whatever calculated to disturb, annoy or interfere with the public tranquillity or repose.
